Multi-Sensory techniques such as ‘attention autism’ within a thematic story enhance the understanding and learning of those children and adolescents with difficulty processing and integrating sensory information such as those with Autism.
We planned it all for you! Our environment is full of sensory stimuli, information that your child will pick up through the 7 sensory receptive senses. These sensory receptors are mainly concentrated in our hands, feet, mouth, eyes, ears, nose, and skin once passed onto the brain, they can be processed into learned experiences and memories.
Each receptor is responsible for picking up sensory information and passing this information to our brain for the processing which involves organising, prioritising, understanding, and responding to the information.
